Hysterosalpingogram (HSG)

A Hysterosalpingogram is an x-ray of the uterus and fallopian tubes, which is undertaken preferably after a woman's menstrual period ends to ensure she's not already pregnant. A woman goes to the x-ray department where she's examined and an instrument is inserted into the cervix. A radio opaque dye is used to outline the uterine cavity and check the patency (nature) of the tubes.

"Dr. Roth takes such care in explaining treatment and demonstrated genuine concern for my past experience with surgery. I fully realize how busy his schedule must be and it is refreshing to find a doctor who has not lost the ability to connect with his patients."
