Blood Screening

Preconception blood screening includes:

  • blood type
  • thyroid and prolactin levels
  • rubella titres

As well, we screen for various medical conditions including:

  • anemia
  • HIV/AIDS
  • syphilis
  • hepatitis A, B, and C

These tests provide an important benchmark of your overall health, provide important clues to your hormonal status and ensure you don't have any infectious diseases that you might be unaware of.
